Balloon

The Balloon glass is a large-style wine glass and is generally used to serve red wine. The glass became popular in the 1960s and it was actually created to expose more wine surface area. Some believe it speeds up the "breathing" of the wine. Other popular drinks served in the balloon glass are wine-based mixtures and sangria.
