This cranberry relish is not only a turkey’s best friend, it complements pork, beef, meat, chicken and other Thanksgiving main courses. The pineapple adds just the right amount of sweetness to the cranberry, while the strawberry jello gives it a terrific texture. This relish is simple to prepare and even simpler to enjoy and can easily become a Thanksgiving dinner favorite!
2 package strawberry or raspberry flavored Jell-o
2 cup hot water
2 can crushed pineapple
2 can cranberry sauce
Place hot water and Jell-o in a bowl and mix well. Put the bowl in the refrigerator until it hardens.
In the meantime, blend together the pineapple and cranberry sauce. You should still see pieces of pineapple after it is blended. Stir in the hardened jello using a whisk.
Serve chilled on the side in a condiment server, or use this tasty relish to garnish your dish.
