Lip-Smacking Cheesecake

January 15, 2010 11:00 AM

Both creamy and smooth, a slice (or two) of cheesecake is undoubtedly the most tasty and graceful way to end any meal. Cheesecake is a self-indulgent, mouth-watering dessert which leaves no room for question on why 99.9% of people have a very hard time refusing a piece of cheesecake- unless on a diet of course!

This cheesecake recipe is by far the tastiest I’ve ever gotten my hands on. You can absolutely trust me on that one since I’ve gotten my hands on quite a few! Try this quick and practically effortless new recipe.

Crust:

1 package cinnamon, chocolate or honey Graham crackers
3 oz. butter

Directions:

  1. Blend the Graham crackers into fine crumbs.  Place them in a 9" round pan.
  2. Cut the butter into small pieces.
  3. Place in a pre-heated oven for about 10 minutes or until the butter is melted. Keep an eye on those crackers. If they are left in for even a minute too long, they will burn.
  4. Stir mixture to completely blend crackers with butter.
  5. Press the crackers down evenly onto the bottom of the 9” pan and a bit up the sides of the pan.

Cake:

3 eggs
1/2 cup sugar
1 tablespoon vanilla sugar
1 lb. farmer cheese
1-8 oz. package cream cheese (not whipped)
1/2 package instant vanilla pudding
1/2 small container sour cream
1 tablespoon lemon juice – optional

Directions:

  1. Place the eggs in the blender.  Blend for a few minutes.  Add the sugar and vanilla sugar and blend.
  2. Add the rest of the ingredients into the blender a little bit at a time, as the blender is going, pulsing the on and off button, until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
  3. Pour the batter into 9" round pan, over the crust.
  4. Bake at 350°F for approx. 1 hour, or until the cheese mixture is set, but not too firm.

Optional:

Swirl in chocolate or coffee syrup and marbleize.

Choice of Toppings:

A can of cherry pie filling, caramel topping, chocolate swirls, slices of strawberries etc.

....And just remember, you can’t say I didn’t warn you!

Hi there, I really enjoyed this post. I'm opening up a site and began to create rather diverse articles for it. Would you object if I write something about this blog? Obviously I will provide you and this site full credit and add a link to this page :).

Thanks for writing about this. There's a bunch of great tech information on the internet. You've got a lot of that info here on your web site. I'm impressed - I try to keep a couple blogs reasonably up-to-date, but it's a struggle sometimes. You've done a big job with this one. How do you do it?
