Crinkle Cookies

Looking for the perfect cookie recipe to impress your guests? Look no further. These crinkle cookies look professional and taste delicious, too! One thing to keep in mind, crinkle cookies have to be made exactly according to the recipe, adding the ingredients in the order specified, in order to come out perfect. Be sure to follow the directions below to ensure perfect cookies.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup oil
3/4 cup cocoa
2 teaspoons shortening
2 cups sugar
4 eggs
2 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons baking powder
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1/2 cup confectioner's sugar
Directions:
- In an electric mixer, mix oil, cocoa, sugar and shortening together very well.
- Slowly add one egg at a time while mixer is still on low.
- Mix in the flour, salt, baking powder and vanilla extract.
- Chill in the refrigerator for a 6 hours or overnight.
- When ready, preheat the oven to 350°F.
- Line 4 cookie sheets with parchment paper.
- Cover the bottom of a 9"x13" pan with confectioner's sugar.
- Using a teaspoon, scoop up the batter and drop into the pan (each scoop should be a teaspoonful).
- Turn around in confectioner's sugar until completely coated.
- Roll into a perfect ball and place on a cookie sheet, 1-1/2 inches apart.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until the cookies don't look "wet".
- Let cool on a rack.
