Cast Iron Griddles

Cast iron griddles are either round or flat. Round cast iron griddles are used much like fry pans, but they very quickly cook pancakes, scrambled eggs, bacon, griddle cakes and more. Flat, rectangular cast iron griddles are an inexpensive way to expand the usefulness of a commercial range that does not have a built-in griddle. They fit over two burners and heat quickly, enabling chefs to cook large amounts of food such at peak times in restaurants, diners and cafes.
