Can you leave your product (cheese or chili) in the container, put lid on it and store in refrigerator after its been in the warmer, or do you need to empty the contents out for storage?
This insert jar can be used as a container once the product has cooled off. Just seal it with the cover or saran wrap and store in the fridge.
