    This is a very durable container. I dropped it on a tile floor while unpacking, and it didn't even get a scratch. The lid fits very well, and will not come off by accident. Like most containers, the lid isn't completely watertight, but that is something easy to fix with shrink wrap.

    Note, since this item is made of polycarbonate, it contains BPA (this is the reason for the proposition 65 warning on it). If this is a concern, Winco makes a similar container out of polypropylene: Winco PESC-2
