Bezzera Knock Boxes

The knock box is a standard piece of coffee equipment in espresso bars and cafes to clean out the coffee grinds from the portafilter with a good knock against the box. A knock box features a padded crossbar which absorbs the blow of the portafilter and helps loosen the puck. This makes way for the next shot of fresh espresso to be made.
