Culinary and Hospitality Program Scholarship

TigerChef is offering a $2,500 scholarship

Tigerchef is excited to be giving away a scholarship to any culinary student who submits a winning essay on what inspired them to choose an educational path in the food industry!

TigerChef is a wholesale restaurant equipment supply store, servicing the restaurant and catering business for the past 10 years. Our expertise in the food industry drives our success and has aided us greatly in establishing and maintaining our fine reputation.

Whether we are working closely with new entrepreneurs looking to outfit their commercial kitchens; or current customers who want to re-stock their current kitchen inventories, we enjoy successful relationships and look to grow them with each and every sale.

We want to share our passion for success in the restaurant equipment industry with those who are passionate about their culinary skills and ambitions. Together we form a natural partnership that can benefit one another. We supply the equipment and you supply the talent and know-how.

So tell us what inspired you to choose an educational path in the food industry!

Scholarship Winners

TigerChef Culinary Scholarship Winner Joseph Hartman

Congratulations to Joseph Hartman on winning our May 2016 scholarship! Joseph is currently enrolled in the Culinary Arts program at SUNY Cobleskill. Starting out a premed student, he found himself drawn to the science aspect of food instead of medicine. Coming from a family where food was kept simple, Joseph is looking forward to earning his culinary degree and taking the leap into the wondrous world of food! Joseph impressed us with his commitment to the food industry and his perseverance in achieving his career goals.

More information on Joseph's win can be found in the official press release.

TigerChef Culinary Scholarship Winner Bryan Gooden

Congrats to Bryan Gooden on winning our May 2018 scholarship! Bryan has a dream of becoming a world renowned pastry chef, owning his own bakery both locally and globally.
