Apple Cider Braised Pork Rib Chop

Dinner For Two



Ingredients


2 8 oz. pork rib chops
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
1 teaspoon cracked black pepper
1/2 teaspoon red chili pepper flakes
1 teaspoon granulated garlic
1/2 teaspoon rubbed sage
2 tablespoon butter
1 sprig fresh rosemary
1 sprig fresh parsley
1 clove garlic
1 Honey Crisp apple, cored and quartered
1/2 cup apple cider
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar

Directions


Blend all dry spices in a small bowl and reserve. Pat dry the rib chops then season well with spice mix. Let sit for 5 minutes while butter melts in skillet.

In a medium saute skillet over medium heat, melt butter. Add chops and brown on both sides. Add remaining ingredients and place lid on skillet.Move skillet to 400 degree oven and roast for 10 minutes.

Serve with garlic mashed potatoes and roasted root vegetables and a ladle of the juice from the pan.
