    This chopper is designed for medium to hard veggies so it would not work with romain lettuce.

    Can it chop big onions?

    Since I am not sure what size onion you are referring to, if necessary you could cut the onion in half so it can fit the manual dicer.

    The picture shows diced vegetables. It does dice? Can you do tomatos in this product?

    It can dice to 3/8" and 1/2" squares. It's best used for medium-hard vegetables, so it's not recommended for tomatoes unless they are very firm.
