    These edge guards are straight forward to use and do the job.
    I have seen so many knife edges get ruined from folks leaving their knives in drawers. Edge guards (at least improvised cardboard ones) are a must when storing knives in drawers.

    These particular edge guards are lined with felt fabric on the interior. I don't think the felt lining is actually necessary - the plastic material is soft enough as not to damage the edge. However, it does seem to make it easier to slide the guard on.

    Functionality: 5/5
    + Stays on securely
    + Plastic is flexible, but durable
    +- Felt lining isn't really necessary, and might get dirty over time if you forget to wash the knife.

    Fit and Finish: 5/5
    + No cracks, or imperfections

    Value: 5/5
    + Lower cost than comparable edge guards I've seen listed on Amazon.
