Great results with caramelizing onions, frying up chicken livers, and even making flatbread! Having tested this skillet out over the past couple weeks, it's durable, heats evenly, and is easy to clean.

The coarse finish on the pan hides scratches well, so it works great with metal utensils. For cleanup, I like to use a metal scrubber, which again, leaves no visible scratches on the coarse surface.
It seems to stick less than pans I've used with smoother finishes. I like to wipe the bottom down with coconut oil after cleaning and that gets trapped by those grooves. When searing, I add a layer of good avocado oil, and almost no sticking at all.

As with all my stainless cookware, this skillet does develop staining over time. It's easy to restore though with a little bit of BKF (barkeeper's friend).
After about 4 weeks of use, I polished off these stains and inspected the skillet for common types of damage. There is no pitting, warping, base separation, or play in the handle.

+ very durable handle attachment.

+ the coarse finish seems to make food stick less.

Fit and Finish: 4/5
+ bottom of pan is perfectly flat
- edge on the rim is a little sharp, it needs a little polishing with #500 sandpaper
- label was a little tricky to remove. I suggest warming the base of the pan under running water in the sink, careful not to get the label wet. Then slowly peel it off.

Value: 5/5
+ Lower cost than comparable skillets. Though when doing this comparison, keep in mind to add the cost of the lid since this pan does not come with one.
