    This peeler works great for those cases where you need to remove thicker vegetable skins. I get these delicious carrots from the family farm, but looking at the outside, its clear the worms got to them first. But the inside of these carrots is still usually intact, and this peeler is perfect to get them processed.

    In comparison to a peeler with an ergonomic handle, I've found this one to be slower when working with round vegetables since the handle is more difficult to get a good grip on. But this can be worked around by putting on a thick glove - I use the winco cut resistant one, with a nitrile glove on top.
