    Customer Q&A

    Asked by Ann

Does this work on an electric stove?

Generally speaking, cast iron cookware can be used on an electric stove, however we recommend that you double check with the stove manufacturer. If using cast iron is recommended, you will have to adjust your heating times to accommodate cast iron as it takes longer to heat up on an electric stove and, because it is heavyweight, it may scratch the stove top unless handled carefully.
