Winco NPM-7 Stainless Steel Pasta Maker with Detachable Cutter 7"

This is a well-made machine, that makes amazing pasta. It was hard to get it set up (see below), but once I started using it, it performed flawlessly. The dough rollers are easily able to produce a sheet that is nearly paper-thin. And every spaghetti and every linguine noodle was cut perfectly. This does not feel like a $30 pasta maker.

The biggest challenge I ran into with this pasta maker was the initial cleaning. Out of box, the cutters and rollers were covered in metallic residue and machine oil. Unfortunately this item cannot be submerged in water as per manufacturer instructions.
I cleaned all the rollers by repeatedly drenching them in rubbing alcohol (place a towel underneath), and scrubbing with a toothbrush and q-tips. After an hour with this approach, the rollers and cutters were spotless. Before using, I wiped them down with some olive oil.

+dough can be fed into machine directly using the widest setting on the rollers.
+mechanism is sturdy enough that it can handle increments of 2-3 adjustment levels on each pass. (you don't have to run the dough through for each level 1-9)
+consistent size noodles for spaghetti and linguine
+spaghetti and linguine cutters both split noodles perfectly (no partial cuts)
+no issues with sticking or jamming
-numbers on adjustment knobs hard to see
