    Making churros is a good way to ruin most pastry bags. Pastry dough is thicker than icing and takes lots of pressure to push it through the nozzle. That is how my previous reusable plastic bag just "popped" leaving a giant mess everywhere.



    I've been looking for more durable pastry bags that are up to the task and came across these. Not only are these Winco bags cheaper, but they are far more durable... I've been able to make several batches of churros without issue.



    The bags are coated on the inside with polyurethane to make washing easier. However, I recommend using a liner on the inside (either a disposable piping bag, or even generic food storage bag), so that cleaning is even quicker.

    +No breaks in the seam or holes.

    -Some odor from the coating. I recommend washing thoroughly and letting it air out. This is not a concern if you're using a disposable bag as a liner.



    Value: 5/5

    +Very low cost. Reusable pastry bags are usually $3-$5 a piece. Which can add up for larger quantities.
