This silicone scraper has an excellent paddle design. Two common issues I see with silicone scrapers, either the paddle is too small, or it is too flexible. The paddle on this scraper only flexes slightly, making it ideal for tasks requiring more pressure, like scraping batter off the side of a bowl.

I made waffles last weekend, and this scraper helped a lot here... Waffle batter is very sticky thus trickier to work with. But it doesn't stick that much to silicone, and this scraper was perfect for getting the batter off the ladle and spread out over the hot iron.
