    One of the big advantages of these plates over their melamine counterparts is that they are oven-safe. I find this handy for melting just a little bit of mozzarella right over my oven fries, or keeping a slice of pizza warm.

    These plates have been holding up pretty well. I've been testing them out over the past three months, and they have taken plenty of trips through the dishwasher. Dishwashers have a tendency to wear down and damage the rims on porcelain dinnerware, but so far the rims on these plates still look brand new.
    However, some scuffing and scratching has developed on the contact points between the plates (when stacked). This is minor so far, and I expect these plates will last a long time before this wear causes an issue.
