I filled this pot with boiling water on Monday, and it was still warm to the touch Thursday. And while I would never drink coffee that's three days old, this pot's ability to insulate is still impressive.

I was curious to see how well this pot maintains liquid temperature, so I did an experiment. I started with boiling water, then measured the temperature over the course of a day.

At full capacity.
Start: 170 F
Hour 12: 140 F
Hour 24: 131 F
Hour 48: 108 F

Specs:
Height: 16"
Width (including spout): 8"
Capacity: 2.5L (84 oz)

Functionality: 5/5
+Simple design that is not prone to failure.
+Keeps liquids hot, for at least 12 hours, see above for detailed test results.
+Silicone seals are airtight (no leaks).
+Durable design, the gasket on end of the pipe connected to the spout protects glass liner.
-Would have preferred stainless steel instead of plastic for the spout.

Fit and Finish: 5/5
+No dents or scratches.
+Ready to use out of box.

Value: 5/5 ($23.99)
+Priced comparably to similar coffee servers.
