    This cutting board is especially well suited for processing softer foods. It is very easy to clean. That's why it has become my tool of choice for meats, especially poultry. The one drawback is that it's surface tends to be slippery for harder foods, giving you a little less control, which is why I still turn to my wooden board when I have lots of vegetables to go through.

    A common mistake people make is going with a board that is too small. This particular size gives you enough room to work with, while still being washable in a typical kitchen sink.

    +no need to oil or wax as you would a wooden board

    +thick enough that a knife point will not go through it under regular use

    -hard foods tend to slide on the surface, despite the texture

    +very good price at just 6 dollars

    As with most plastic cutting boards, using hot water can warp it. Wash in warm water with lots of soap. Use bleach to disinfect as per FDA guidelines.
