Everyone has their favorite restaurant yet eagerly anticipates eating some type of ethnic cuisine at least once a month. In fact, 80% of consumers eat at one international meal per month, while 66% eat a wider variety of ethnic foods than they did five years ago. This is largely thanks to the high rise in Hispanic and African-American owned restaurants. In fact, 1/4 of the restaurant workforce are Hispanic and 1 in 4 chefs are Hispanic, bringing the unique flavors of their heritage to the dining table.
